Q:Are my glasses covered by contents insurance?
If your glasses were lost or damaged due to an insured event in the home (such as a fire, or theft - see policy wording for further details) then cover would be provided under the Contents Policy.
To provide cover for accidental damage to your glasses and other contents in the home, you can select the extra 'Accidental Damage' to contents cover option for a small additional premium. Or to provide cover for accidental damage to, or loss of your personal possessions (everyday items that you carry with you, including glasses) anywhere in the British Isles or abroad for up to 60 days, you will need the additional 'Personal Possessions' cover, available for a small additional premium. To select either of these cover options, simply add them from the sums insured or additional cover sections on the premium page.
